I can't really believe what i've gone and done.......

Only got myself a tattoo!!!!!!!!

I can tell you all now I'm glad i did it!!! BUT NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!!
Can't believe how much it hurt!!!! It was like glass being pulled through my skin.
I didn't know wither to laugh or cry!!, my nice work mates was wetting themselves with laughter... THE SODS!!!!

Everyone that knows me can't believe I've done it either cos they all know i have no pain barrier, they were shocked LOL
One friends son really didn't believe it was real, He said it looked to perfect to be a real one LOL which i suppose is a compliment to the tattooist that did it.

What do you think of it??? its not a great pic as its is a bit blurry..

Holiday...


Ok perhaps it wasn't soo much of a holiday, more like work but in a different place LOL.

We went to cornwall to take the residents on holiday, They had a good time which all that matters,We couldnt do much really cos it rained most days and as most things are outside we were pretty much stuck for ideas except for shopping!!!

Here's a pic of us all at Lands End, What started off as a horrible rainy day turned into a hot fab day, The nearer we got to lands end the better the weather so we made a great choice there!!!!!

I e-mailed her about this card and asked if she had or was going todo a tutorial as i would like to cope the design, Deb e-mailed me back with in minutes of e-mailing giving me full instructions and that she was gonna do a tut for it but it would take a few days as she was busy.

I am really pleased with the result and def will do it again.

What a strange day.........

..... The weather cant seem to make up its mind.... It was very warm this morning and sunny then the sun went in and got very overcast, Then it rained for about all of 2 seconds,Then the sun came out again which was good cos we went to the Donkey Darby which was going on down the road from work, So we took a wonder for an hour and then came back and sat in the garden for about 1/2 hour after that it was way to hot.

Where was this thunder storm we were meant to be having this afternoon??? It got very muggy this evening and rain did come again for about wow 3 seconds this time not enough to clean the air :(.

We have been talking about ghost's at work, Which freak me out a bit every time cos the buggers take about it when I'm doing a sleep over and i end up not sleeping very well and on the sofa downstairs with who ever is working.

Well tonight one of the girls who lives in our house kept looking to one side, UN-nerved me a bit and i said to her "what can you see??" and she replied he's there on the chair!!! so i had my small bottle on holy water and i said to her shall i flick some of this water onto him??? which i did and she said thanks he's now gone!!!!!

Now i ain't religious but i never do a night shift without it keeps me feeling safe!!! they started to take the Mickey and asked if i had my crucifix and i said no cos it was in a box somewhere :( otherwise I'd have had that with me too LOL.

I can proberly say this is the one thing i DON'T like about my great job!! its the sleep overs, This month I've done 3, Next month i don't have any thank god!!!!!

Right i suppose i had better get my head down on the sofa in the sitting room cos i ain't sleeping upstairs NO WAY, and that's thanks to Steve starting the convo the bugger LOL

Phobia.......

I went back to the circus today cos i thought Jojo and Billy would like it and they did!!!!

IT was different to when i went on friday which was good!!!, Billys face, the first half was a picture shame we wasnt allowed to take pics, he just couldnt believe what he was seeing!!!! LOL

I made myself watch the swinging bit!!! Not soooo bad!!!! I survived like you do, It was good, My heart was pounding but i got throu it, LOL so perhaps its not quite a phobia.. But still very scary. Perhaps its just all in my little mind... What ya think??????

Went to the circus!!!!

We went to the circus yesterday with work, I hadnt been to the circus for years, was really looking forward to it for the whole week!!!!.

We all sat the nicely waitinf for the show to start, Laughing and joking together and then i looked up, Yep thats right i looked up and saw the SWINGS!!!!!

I have got a phobia about swings, It started after jojo was born and got even worse after i had Billy.
Cant even bear to watch the kids on the swings that are moving slightly, So there i am in the big top,awaiting for the show to start My hearts starting to pound, Palms sweating, Breathing deep trying to calm my nerves.

Then the show started, It was the neatherland's circus they were very good!!! Couldnt tell you what the acrobats were like!!! Cos i had my eyes closed couldn't cope.LOL

Does anyone have any phobias????

Oh My God!!!!

I cant believe i haven't been in since 10th of Feb!!!!.

I do hope you all forgive me greatly, as i have had my life turned upside down, My feet haven't touched the ground since I've started work, and boy am i enjoying myself..

I have met some great people, who have helped me laugh again, I look forward to going to work every day and am almost bored when I'm away, We have such a scream all day and that's thanks to my new friends Steve and Julie!!,


I have also found Face book which has totally taken over too :( its too addictive someone please kick me off, if you see me there LOL, Do you think they have a group like AA??? If so please send me the link as i think i should join!!!!

I haven't been able to do much crafting as i would have like, which is a shame, but the summer is coming so hopefully a lot of it will be spent outside.

I have just had my 34th Birthday last week- Yes i know I'm now getting old :( I'm on the slippery slope downwards to 40:(, I got some great pressies a very nice white gold diamond ring from hubby and some perfume off the kids and some money so the was spent at the local craft shop which i must add is closing down:( (will be greatly missed) so everything is half price so i grabbed lots of goodies and bargains.

The sun is shining today, so need to make the most of it and get outside to do what i don't know cos in my back garden all i have is grass so no gardening needs to be done LOL, i could read a book i suppose while I'm awaiting for the washing machine to finish OH JOY!!!

I have got myself into the new daisy and dandelion stamps, WOW they are gorg!!! I've never been one to have a collection of one stamp range until now!!!!, I have the whole of the first set and got 2 of the new range hopefully i can get the other two lots soon oww and the creativity mag they have a Xmas stamp so must remember to get that one too, I think everyone could be having a Christmas daisy card this year LOL.

What a mad week

Its been!!!!!

Last monday i was meant to start my new job!!!! Well i guess i didnt get there with all the snow.

I managed to get there on Tuesday and have worked all week, Have loved every minute of it,
I dont think i have laff'd soo much this last week the girls are a scream they are sooo funny, We all just laff about everything and anything.

I'm sooo glad the snow has finally gone well most of it anyway i couldn believe we've just had 2 solid days of rain and we still have some snow left, you'd have thought it would have washed it all away but no!!!

I have a few pics of cards i've made need to upload them to the comp and then i can show you.

I'm slowly on the count down for the "make it" show thats coming to our town!!!!! any one else coming?????? It should be a good one peeps say that last years was good too soo we shall see.

Weather update!!!!!!! Monday 2nd Feb

Its bad!!!!!!:(

Dont get me wrong i LOVE SNOW!!!!!, but not on my first day there!!!!!!

Pauls already left home to try and get to work i called cos they said one road near us was a no go and he said that he was coming home it was too bad out there, so at least i'll be able to try to get to work :(i'm not that far away and on major roads with no hills.

right best get going to finish off the kids porridge to keep them warm today.

Finally managed to upload the pics the first two are about 6 am this morning and the last one is about mid morning.

Not seen snow like this in years and tonight we're meant to have more and for it to freeze too,
I have had a go at clearing the joint driveway in hope it will give me half a chance tomorrow to get to work!!!! dout the neighbours will thank me thou.

I looked at the bottom of this post and it said i had posted this one on sunday 1st lol i know it was early when i started but not that early, Hopefully now i've edited it it will show as today i posted.

OMG I dont believe it!!!!!!!!!

The one thing i didnt need for my first day at work is for it to be snowing!!!!!!!!
We have one car and work in the total different direction from each other :( normally it wouldnt be a problem as paul would goto work on his motorbike BUT NOT TOMORROW!!!!!!!

I have arranged for a lift tomorrow, so am hoping my friend will be able to get out, he drives a van so it should be ok!!!! so all send good thoughts that either the snow melts or my lift arrives in the morning.

Here is a couple of pics i took about 9pm one is out the front of the house and the other as you can tell is the back garden.,
As i speak it is still snowing and getting thicker :(, I am also praying that the schools dont close, Not that the kids will mind lol as they will be gutted that they wont be able to make snowmen if they go!!!!!

Right i'll be back tomorrow with an update of my day on my first day at work, hopefully all will go to plan

Have made MIL's birthday card will show you once i have got the pic from camera to here as i have now found the charger woohoo have i already told you that i miss placed it way before xmas Paul was doing his nutt over it and i was just like calm down calm down it will show up soon when we least expect it and it did!!!! rofl

Why is it that the cards you make look fab in real life and then when you scan them in the look completely different, Like the last card it has some pink glitter card on it but it looks purple!!!!

Coldddddd.

I was really freezing earlier this afternoon, So cold that my bones were hurting in my fingers, it feels like snow out there this afternoon.

I had to pop into town today and it was throwing it down, I sooo hate the rain and once i had got a parking space the rain stop, I was like thank god for that, it stopped long enough for me to get a ticket place in said car and cross the road!!!!!! didnt even get undercover:( was not impressed!!!!.

Have had a very boring day today nothings got done except i cleaned out the kids fish tank at my mums, It has pink water!!!!! why pink water you ask??? thats the very question i asked the man in the fish shop the other week when i went in and asked him to test the water!!!! and even he didnt know :(, so i took out at least half of the water and replaced with new and see how that goes.

I have made a birthday card the other day for a 7 year old she loves hannah montanna, i asked a good friend of mine (from celtic crafters) babs to write me 3 verse for this little girl as i have to make 3 cards for her ,

Heres the first card that i made just 2 more to go, i have scanned this card in and i must say that it hasnt done it any justice!!!!

I have finally found my camera charger WOO HOO so my camera is charging and i will be able to take proper pics and hopefully they will look better than what i've showed you so far!!!.

Well i dont have anything ele to say except i am meant to be making mother in laws birthday card and one for a friend in crafty friends but havent got my mojo it seems to have disapeared am hoping it comes back real soon as have lots of cards to make.

Guess what i did today????????

I went and got meself a job!!!!!!!! i know i know i can hear you all saying about bloody time too!!!!!!!.

I was sooo scared had butterflies in my tummy felt like i was gonna be sick wanted to run away and hide, I was soo confident about the job right upto the point of the interview!!!
Anyway answered all the questions they were firing at me and was hoping they were the right answers, was in there well over an hour and then it was over and i felt more relaxed and while i was having some documents photocopied the lad who was in there helping with the interview said see it wasnt that bad we'll prob go away and talk about you now!!!lol and i replied well i hope it will be all good im sure it will be he said it was a good interview pheww, they then said they would be in contact in a week to let me know and blow me if she didnt ring within the hour telling i was in!!!!!!!! so now just have to wait for the refs to come back and the crb and pova forms and then i can start!!!!!

Got to go in tomorrow and fill out some more forms and OMG its full time 37.5 a week not worked full time since before Jojo was born, I will be doing 2 full days(8am-9pm) and 2 five and a half hour(ish) shifts and over time if wanted god im gonna be soooo knackered but at least we'll be able to pay the rent lol.

Paul had a good 40th birthday got some nice pressies from me and kids and my mum and dad.

What a fine morning

It is today!!!!!

Well we had snow again during the night not much but a light cover and thankfully it is warmer today, It was sooooo cold yeaterday :(, Took the kids out yesterday just to get some fresh air and they were frozen got to my mums and they HAD to have a hot chocolate to warm up and mum HAD to light the fire!!!!!lol.

Its that warm and sunny today i didnt put on a cardi or coat to hang out the washing ;) BRAVE ARNT I??????.

Nothing much planned for today apart from i HAVE TO MAKE Pauls birthday card as its tomorrow so cant not do it!!!!! So when i get it done will post up here for you all to see.
